Venezuela Advisor was founded by David Mauricio, who is also co-founder of a sister real estate firm focused on the Colombian market. Originally from Sweden, David came to Latin America to study International Business at Universidad EAFIT in Medellín, and has since built his career as an investor and real estate advisor in the region.
After years working in Medellín's real estate market, he decided to extend that focus to Venezuela — particularly Caracas and Isla de Margarita — where he identifies long-term potential driven by tourism, growing international interest, and property prices that still reflect years of low foreign investment.
